Marvel Studios released the final Eternals trailer on Thursday and thus giving us an extended glimpse of the cosmic heroes in a story that will be spanning more than 7,000 years. The latest footage released shows the aftermath of the events of Marvel's box office juggernaut, Avengers: Endgame, in 2019, with the immortal heroes emerging from the shadows and reuniting to face the oldest enemy of all life in the universe - The Deviants.

Directed by Nomadland's Oscar-winning filmmaker Chloé Zhao, the new Eternals trailer doesn't waste time in asking the big question among every Marvel fan - where were the cosmic heroes when Earth's Mightiest Heroes (Avengers) fought the 'Mad Titan' Thanos, while also showing why they have to step out of the shadows after Hulk's snap. The Eternals trailer reveals that the heroes were ordered clearly by the Celestials to not interfere in any life-threatening and life-altering events unless the Deviants were involved, with plenty of eye-popping action-packed moments packaged till the end.

Apart from the grand visual spectacle teased in the Eternals teaser, the upcoming Marvel Studios' superhero film includes an interesting star cast being spearheaded by Academy Award-winning actress Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena, followed by Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Gemma Chan as Sersi with a strong connection to humans and the Earth and is one can manipulate inanimate matter, Richard Madden as Ikaris with an ability to project cosmic energy beams from his eyes, Kumail Nanjiani as Kingo who becomes a popular Bollywood film star to blend in with Earth's population, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh and Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig.
