American actor Grant Gustin, known for starring in The CW's The Flash, has become a father, with his wife Andrea "LA" Thoma making the joyous announcement on Instagram on Tuesday. Announcing that they have been blessed with a baby girl, Gustin's physical therapist wife posted a photo of the newborn's tiny feet and wrote, "Juniper Grace Louise is here and mama and papa are absolutely obsessed." She further added, "We will be very busy kissing and sniffing every inch of her until she is old enough to tell us it’s weird." Check out LA Thoma's post below:

Grant Gustin and LA Thoma first revealed that they were expecting their first child back in February along with a picture of an ultrasound of their baby girl, with their three dogs accompanying them. "Unbelievably excited. As LA noted, the dogs obviously are too," Gustin wrote in his post then. Thoma had sometime back spoken about her fertility experience calling it "emotional", while also delving on the subject of hyperemesis gravidarum, which is a type of morning sickness and is quite severe. In the video of her pregnancy, she said, "I got so incredibly sick. I started violently throwing up all day, every day and wasn't able to eat or drink. You think, 'How can I ever go through another pregnancy?' and then you feel so guilty because all you want, at least for us, is a few kids. And now we're at the point where it's like can I do this again? Do I want to put myself through this again?" Expressing her gratitude to Gustin for being by her side at all times and especially during quarantine, Thoma said she "could not have done it without" him as she occasionally experienced symptoms of hyperemesis gravidarum.

On the work front, Grant Gustin will be seen once again as the DC Comics superhero Barry Allen / The Flash on The CW's The Flash when its eighth season will premiere on November 16, 2021. He was also announced last year to star in the upcoming film, Operation Blue Eyes, in which he'll portray Barry Keenan, who is known for kidnapping Frank Sinatra, Jr in 1963.
