EXCLUSIVE: Director Arivazhagan reveals details behind his meeting with Thalapathy Vijay!

Director Arivazhagan, who made an impressive debut with the horror thriller, Eeram, is also known for his other films like Vallinam, Aarathu Sinam, Kuttram 23, etc. The super talented director is currently helming Arun Vijay’s next, AV31, an action thriller, that co-stars Regina Cassandra, Stefy Patel, and Bagavathi Perumal. Having said that, Galatta Media got in touch with director Arivazhagan through a Facebook live chat to talk about his films and future projects. During the session, we asked him to share a few words about his meeting with Thalapathy Vijay that happened a few years back.

Answering it, Arivazhagan said, “It was an unforgettable moment. Every filmmaker will have an interest and desire to work with Vijay sir and it has been a long dream for me, as well. After seeing Thuppakki, I was very keen to do a film with him. I met him after the release of Kuttram 23 and this picture was taken during that meeting.

It was a very memorable meeting and I was flattered by his hospitality. Directing a Vijay sir film doesn’t happen just like that. It depends on various factors and I’m waiting for that right time. I definitely believe I would get to direct Vijay sir some day.” Well, as Arivazhagan says, let us hope he joins hands with Thalapathy Vijay for an exciting project very soon.
