The Cobra team released an intriguing motion poster for last year's Christmas, on December 25th, 2019. And Chiyaan fans are eagerly waiting to know more about the film and when will the teaser be out. During an exclusive live interaction with director Ajay Gnanamuthu, he told us about his plans for the teaser and when can we expect it to be out. “Cobra teaser will take quite some time to release because things are only starting to settle down now and we are slowly getting back into that working zone. So the teaser will not release anytime soon because even the film might get delayed because close to 35 to 40 % of the shoot is left.  

 
A teaser should boost the film, so only when we unleash it close to the film’s release, its purpose will get fulfilled. If we release the teaser well in advance and when the film release after a year, then it will look like very old film. So, get the teaser ready, will not take so much time but it should come at the appropriate time, that’s why we are holding on to it. So, the teaser will not release any time soon.”
