The young heartthrob Atharvaa had an eventful 2019 with three releases. His two Tamil movies - Boomerang and 100 got mixed reviews, with Boomerang getting middling reviews and 100 garnering positive ones. Atharvaa's biggest success of the year was his Tollywood debut movie Gaddalakonda Ganesh, which was the remake of the superhit Tamil movie Jigarthanda! Atharvaa reprised Siddharth's role from the original and had a rousing reception from the Telugu Cinema audiences. Now, Atharvaa has a number of movies in hand but is currently working on the final schedule of the Tamil remake of the Telugu superhit movie Ninnu Kori!

Atharvaa gets stuck at Dubai enroute Azerbaijan due to floods

Atharvaa, who was on the way to Azerbaijan to participate in the final schedule of the Tamil remake of Ninnu Kori, had been stranded at the Dubai Airport, following the runway being flooded. Dubai has been experiencing heavy rainfall for the past couple of days and despite the best efforts of the authorities, the runways have remained flooded. This had caused Atharvaa to be held up at the airport for over 24 hours before he could take a flight out to Baku. However, we hear that he has now joined the unit safely and that the shoot is underway. This schedule, which has Atharvaa, Anupama, Amitash and Aadukalam Naren, is expected to be wrapped up by the end of this month.

The 2017 movie Ninnu Kori, directed by Shiva Nirvana, starred Nani, Nivetha Thomas and Aadhi Pinisetty in the lead. Now, the remake has Atharvaa reprising Nani's role with Anupama Parameswaran taking on Nivetha Thomas's role and Amitash Pradhan (of VIP fame) playing Aadhi's role! Atharvaa also has Othaikku Othai in post-production and Kuruthi Aattam & Rukkumani Vandi Varudhu, in various stages of filming.
