Prabhas 21, which was initially being planned to roll into production in August, has since been delayed in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic crisis. According to reports, the makers are planning to kickstart shoot on the mega project sometime in early 2021. Fans too have been delighted right from the get go about director Nag Ashwin and Vyjayanthi Movies reuniting for a film with Prabhas following the blockbuster success of the biographical drama Mahanati in 2018, which fetched Keerthy Suresh the National Award for Best Actress.

So far, Deepika Padukone has starred in only two South Indian ventures - her debut in Kannada in the 2006 film, Aishwarya, and 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan in 2014. Her return down south and that too alongside Prabhas has left fans mighty excited, who already have given a double thumbs up to their casting. The hype surrounding Prabhas 21 is sky-high and the makers will want to live up to those expectations in delivering a cracker of an entertainer.
