Sonu Nigam's sister Teesha debuts in Malayalam

Popular Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam recently made his Malayalam debut with 'Chakkaramaavin Kombathu' in Bombay March 12. Now, his sister Teesha Nigam is also marking her Malayalam entry as a playback singer with a soft number in director Shivsanker's upcoming film. The music is scored by Sunny Viswanath.

Notably, Teesha has sung many songs in Telugu. She started off with Super and went on to sing in Political Rowdy, Bujjigadu, Saleem and Sree. However, it was Magadheera that catapulted her to fame.

"The song 'Dheera Dheera,' my duet with M.M. Kreem, went on to be lapped up by the masses and also earned me nominations for the best playback singer in all major award ceremonies in the South," said Teesha, who recorded her first Kannada song recently.
