The COVID-19 Corona Virus outbreak has caused almost all the industries to go into lockdown mode. All shooting has been stopped and theatres have been closed. This has caused the daily wage workers of the various technical teams to have no source of income till the lockdown is lifted. Many celebrities are coming forward to contribute in some way or the other to help the FEFSI employees in this time of crisis. Yesterday, a couple of stars including Sivakumar, Suriya, Sivakarthikeyan, Manobala and a few others had contributed money and rice bags.
Today, director Hari has donated 100 sacks of rice and sent it to the FEFSI office for distributing amongst the employees who are in need. Actor Prakashraj has also donated 150 rice bags of 25 kgs each for the FEFSI employees, while actor Harish Kalyan has donated Rs. 1 Lakh. Producer Lalit Kumar of Seven Screen Studio has also contributed Rs. 10 Lakhs for the relief efforts towards the FEFSI employees needs. These contributions would indeed go a long way in helping the needy in this time of crisis.
