Vikram Prabhu, who was recently seen in Mani Ratnam’s production venture, Vaanam Kottattum, has signed his next Tamil film and the announcement about it has been made. This new film has got an interesting title - Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku, named after Subramania Bharathiyar’s lines. This film will be directed by debutant Karthik Chowdary, while the cinematography will be handled by Suresh Bhargav, a former associate of Balu Mahendra. Mahati Swara Sagar, son of ace music director Mani Sharma, will compose the songs and music for the film and it will mark his debut in Tamil cinema.

National award winning editor Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao will be taking care of the editing department. Paayum Oli Nee Yenakku is produced by Kumaraswamy Pathikonda under the banner of Maha Mahalakshmi Arts. The film’s shooting is planned to start from April 2020, after Vikram Prabhu finishes his ongoing commitments.

The ‘Kumki’ actor is also a part of Mani Ratnam’s historical epic, Ponniyin Selvan and he will soon join the team for shooting his portions. Apart from these two films, he also has Asuraguru which is waiting to hit the screens on a suitable date. Happening days ahead for Vikram Prabhu!
