The biggest talk among actor Ajith Kumar's fans for a while now has been the wait for the first glimpse from his upcoming film, Valimai, directed by H. Vinoth under Boney Kapoor's Bayview Projects LLP banner. Touted to be a mass action film, Ajith will be seen playing the role of a police officer, with composer Yuvan Shankar Raja also a part of the highly-anticipated venture, which wrapped up production last month. As only an action sequence remains to be shot at an overseas location, Yuvan on Tuesday took part in JioSaavn's Instagram live session, where he dropped a big update on Valimai.

During JioSaavn's IG live session, Yuvan went on to reveal that the works for the music in the film are currently underway, which also includes the Valimai motion poster and other promotional material. Up until now, it was believed that the makers would be unveiling only a first look poster, but Yuvan's latest announcement has raised the excitement levels tenfold, with all sights now set on the Valimai motion poster. Talking about the Valimai motion poster, Yuvan can be heard saying, "We are working now on the songs in the film and the motion poster. And, the activities for the promotions will next begin." It is to be noted that Yuvan had also last month informed fans that the Valimai opening song will be a mass number for which he had roped in festival drummers from Odisha. There is massive hype surrounding Valimai as it sees Ajith once again teaming up with H. Vinoth, Boney Kapoor and Yuvan after their 2019 blockbuster, the courtroom action drama, Nerkonda Paarvai. Nirav Shah is also on board Valimai, which will see Ajith paired opposite Kaala fame Huma Qureshi, with leading Telugu actor Kartikeya speculated to be playing the antagonist, followed by Yogi Babu, Saranya Ravichandran among others forming the supporting cast. Likewise, a new video of Ajith at the Rifle Academy participating in the sport of shooting training is now going viral on social media, where we see the superstar sporting a casual white short, which he has complimented with a khakhi pant.
