Suriya's Jai Bhim is scheduled for a direct OTT release on Amazon Prime Video and it will be the star actor's next release after Guitar Kambi Mele Nindru (from Navarasa). Earlier today (Oct 1), the makers officially announced the release date of Jai Bhim and it has made the fans look forward to the d-day. Suriya's Jai Bhim, directed by Tha Se Gnanavel will release on November 2, ahead of the festive occasion of Diwali. This year's Diwali falls on November 4 and the film will release two days before the festive occasion. It can be noted that Suriya's Soorarai Pottru was also released two days before Diwali in 2020 and the same pattern will follow this year, as well.

With just one month there for the film's release, we can expect the makers to begin the promotions in full swing very soon. Jai Bhim, which is based on a series of real life incidents, is said to address a very important issue in detail. Suriya will be seen playing a pivotal character in the film and he would be donning the role of an advocate. When the powerful dialogues come through Suriya's character, the reach of the lines will reach a larger audience. Produced by Suriya's 2D Entertainment, the film will have music composed by Sean Roldan and cinematography handled by SR Kathir. Master fame Philomin Raj has handled the edit.

Sillukaruppatti fame Manikandan, Lijomol Jose play the lead roles while Karnan fame Rajisha Vijayan and Prakash Raj form the supporting cast. Suriya's next release as a producer will be Udanpirappe which is scheduled to release on October 14 on Prime Video. Udanpirappe features Jyotika and Sasikumar in the lead roles and the duo will be seen playing siblings. Udanpirappe is directed by Era Saravanan of Kathukutty fame.
