Superstar Rajinikanth's Annaatthe will have a grand theatrical release on November 4, 2021, for the festive occasion of Diwali and the film will release on a record number of screens. Annaatthe is directed by Siva of Viswasam fame and has music scored by D Imman. On Saturday, October 9, the second single song from Annaatthe was released and the song has opened to a fairly positive response from the fans and music lovers. Titled 'Saara Kaattrae', the track was sung by Sid Sriram and Shreya Ghoshal who made the song a highly impressive one.

The soulful rendition of the duo has made 'Saara Kaattrae' a likeable track. The visuals of the song will feature Rajinikanth and Nayanthara and the duo's pairing is going to be one of the interesting aspects of the movie. While the song has found a place in the playlists of the audience, the makers have now released a new video that shows us the making of the song. In the video, we see music director Imman interacting with Sid Sriram and Shreya Ghoshal through video calls about the song. It looks like Sid and Shreya recorded for the song from their respective places due to the Covid 19 situation.

The glimpse has grabbed the attention of the fans and has been doing rounds on social media since this morning. Produced by Sun Pictures, the film has cinematography by Vetri and editing by Ruben, while the art direction and stunt choreography departments are headed by Milan and Dhilip Subbarayan respectively. Apart from Rajinikanth and Nayanthara, the film's star cast also includes Keerthy Suresh, Khushbu Sundar, Meena, Prakash Raj, Soori, Sathish, Jagapathi Babu, Abhimanyu Singh, and others. Keerthy Suresh will be seen playing Rajinikanth's younger sister in the film and the star actress is said to have got a significant role to play.
