Keerthy Suresh's Miss India, directed by debutante Narendra Nath, is being produced by Mahesh S Koneru under his East Coast Productions banner. Apart from Keerthy Suresh, the film stars Jagapathi Babu, Naveen Chandra, Rajendra Prasad, Naresh, Poojitha Ponnada, Nadhiya, Bhanushree Mehra and Sumanth, among others. SS Thaman is scoring the music for this venture, which has cinematography by Sujith Vassudev with editing by Tammiraju. South Indian superstar Keerthy Suresh stunned fans with her performance in the 2018 Savitri biopic, Mahanati in Telugu, which was also dubbed in Tamil under the title, Nadigaiyar Thilagam, fetching her first ever National Award for Best Actress. Post the accolades for Mahanati, the popular actress was flooded with offers from Telugu cinema after which she went on to sign on the dotted line for a number of projects namely Miss India, Range De and Good Luck Sakhi, while also landing major roles in Mohanlal's ambitious epic historical period film, Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Simham, in Malayalam and 'Superstar' Rajinikanth's Annaatthe.
