The entire nation is on a complete lockdown due to the panic situation created by the corona virus and people have been spending time at their homes without roaming outside. Social media is one of the available sources of entertainment and on that note, actors have been making use of this time to engage with fans through photos, videos, and interactions. Shruti Haasan has now posted a new video on her Instagram space and in this video, we see her performing her remix version of her father, Kamal Haasan’s classic song, ‘Thenpaandi Cheemaiyile’, from Mani Ratnam’s Nayakan.

This timeless song was originally composed by Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja and penned by Pulamaipithan. It can be noted that Shruti is also a music director who has films like Unnaipol Oruvan to her credit. It is good to see her performing the song in her tune and the video is doing good rounds on social media. On the work front, Shruti Haasan will be seen as the female lead in films like Krack with Ravi Teja and Laabam with Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi.

She is also in discussion for a few other interesting projects and we will get updates about it once our lives get back to normalcy. For now, check out Shruti Haasan's tutorial video below:

I’ve always loved this song 🖤
