Baahubali director SS Rajamouli's next film is RRR which has got phenomenal expectations among the fans and film buffs across the world. The movie features Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles and it has been shot on a grand scale, on a budget of over 350 - 400 crores. RRR is a period action drama which is based on the lives of Indian freedom fighters, Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem, who fought against the British Raj and Nizam of Hyderabad respectively. Ram Charan will be seen playing the role of Sitarama Raju, while Jr NTR will essay the character of Komaram Bheem. The film's shoot is almost completed and only a few more portions are left to be shot.

Post the Covid 19 situation, the remaining portions would be completed. RRR will have a grand pan Indian release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. While the Tamil dubbed version (titled Raththam Ranam Rowthiram) will be released by Lyca Productions, the theatrical distribution rights for North India was acquired by Pen Studios. Additionally, the company also bagged the electronic, digital, and satellite rights of all the versions. Earlier this evening (May 26), Pen Studios officially announced the digital and satellite partners of RRR for each language and the announcement has created a huge buzz on social media.

The original Telugu version, along with Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada versions of RRR will stream on Zee 5 platform, while the Hindi version will stream on Netflix. The Foreign languages (dubbed) versions will also stream on Netflix. It should be noted that the film will release on the said platforms only after the end of its theatrical run. As far as the satellite rights are concerned, the Tamil version has been sold to Vijay TV. It is great to know that Vijay TV has bagged a mega biggie and we can expect the movie to attract a solid amount of viewership during its television premiere.

The Telugu and Kannada versions have been sold to Star Network, while the Malayalam version will be telecast on Asianet. Check out the official announcement tweet below:
