Actress Trisha Krishnan is set to have a busy 2020 as she is attached to a number of films that have both been completed and awaiting release and, a few others that are in development. The leading actress, who will next be seen in the long-delayed, Paramapatham Vilaiyattu, wrapped up filming on her action thriller, Raangi, a few days back and is attached to ventures namely Mani Ratnam's magnum opus, Ponniyin Selvan, Garjanai, the speculatively titled Sugar alongside Simran, Chiranjeevi's Chiru 152 in Telugu and Ram opposite Mohanlal in Malayalam.

Among them, Trisha will be seen playing the role of a doctor in Paramapatham Vilaiyattu, which was announced for a theatrical release on February 28, and is her first on-screen appearance after last year's blockbuster, Petta, in which she was paired opposite 'Superstar' Rajinikanth. Directed by K. Thirugnanam, the first Paramapatham Vilaiyattu sneak peek video has now been released as part of the promotions and features Trisha standing up to AL Azhagappan, who is a minister, over the treatment of Vela Ramamoorthy.

Post the resounding success of 96 in 2018 and her performance being hailed by all as one of the best in recent times, fans have been wanting to witness more of Trisha and Paramapadham Vilayattu, produced under the 24 Hrs Productions banner and featuring music composed by Amrish Ganesh is the popular actress's 60th film in her glorious career. The action thriller will see her alongside many notable names in its supporting cast among whom include Nandha, Richard, AL Azhagappan, Vela Ramamoorthy, Chaams, Sona and others.
