Thirumagal is one of the popular television serials in Tamil and it has got a very good fan base. The serial has crossed over 125 episodes and is running successfully with a good support from the family audience. Thirumagal serial is being aired on Sun TV and it features Harika Sadu, Surendar Shanmugam and Shamitha Shreekumar in the lead roles. Some of the notable actors in the supporting cast of Thirumagal include Jeeva Ravi, Rajendran, Rekha Suresh, Prakash Rajan, Janaki Devi, Kovai Babu, Sangeetha V, Niveditha Pankaj, Venkat Subha, and others. The serial also featured actress Sushma Nair in an important role and she earned a very good response for her performance as Pregathi.

The talented actress recently got hitched to the love of her life, Lijo T John, who is an ICC Academy certified Cricket Coach. Sushma took to her official Instagram page to share the wedding photoshoot pictures and it has been earning the love of the fans. The marriage happened on April 18, following the Covid - 19 protocols. The marriage happened in a church, in the presence of the couple's families and close friends.
