Last week, the popular streaming platform, Zee 5 launched its new Tamil web series titled Mugilan starring Karthik Raj of Sembaruthi serial fame in the titular role. The first look poster of the series received a good reception from the fans. Bigg Boss sensation Ramya Pandian who is currently inside the house, has played one of the female leads in this series and the fans are looking forward to witnessing her performance. This web series is a gangster drama inspired by true incidents that are mixed with exciting twists and turns. It shows the rise and fall of a gangster Mugilan, for whom his family means everything. Robert Master, Aadukalam Naren, Junior Balaiah and many others have played important roles in the Mugilan web series.

This gangster thriller drama is written and directed by Sri Ram Ram and produced by Dinesh Ramana (Insideus Media), Bala Sundaram (Insideus Media) and Jayachandran (Inhouse Productions). Jil Jung Juk fame Vishal Chandrasekhar has composed music for this series which has cinematography by Farook J Basha, editing by Tamil Arasan and art direction by Manimozhian Ramadurai. The series is all set to stream from October 30 on Zee 5 platform.

Ahead of the release, the makers have now released the teaser of the series which looks quite promising. The teaser traces the journey of Mugilan and it shows the rise and fall of a gangster named Mugilan. The promo video is packed neatly with some intense moments and the series shows good promise. Ramya Pandian plays the love interest of Karthik Raj and she seems to have some good emotional scenes as well.

As we already know, Ramya Pandian is currently inside the Bigg Boss house and she is now one among the housemates who are going to contest in the 100-day game show. It has been just two weeks since the show’s start, but Ramya has already become one of the favourites for the people of Tamil Nadu.
