Actor Suriya’s fans will have plenty to cheer for this year as the superstar's highly-anticipated, Soorarai Pottru, directed by Irudhi Suttru fame Sudha Kongara, will be coming out as a grand summer release in April. Produced jointly by Suriya's 2D Entertainment and Guneet Monga's Sikhya Entertainment banners, the film's teaser released not long back received a thunderous response from fans.

Despite Soorarai Pottru's release in April, the excitement surrounding this upcoming Suriya venture is sky-high and features music by G. V. Prakash Kumar. Post the release of the 'Maara Theme' a few days back, it was announced yesterday that the second track titled, 'Veyyon Silli', sung by Harish Sivaramakrishnan and written by lyricst Vivek Velmurugan will be released in the days ahead. Now, lyricist Vivek has revealed on Twitter that 'Veyyon Silli' is his first ever song for Suriya while also saying the first word in the track, 'Veyyon' means 'Suriyan', which he labeled as a surprising happy coincidence. Check out his tweet below:
