Hastag ‘BoycottNeflix’ was trending on Twitter a couple of days ago, it was because of their recent Telugu film Krishna and his Leela which allegedly hurted the sentiments of the Hindus. The film was released directly on 25 June 2020 on Netflix. The male of the film is called Krishna who is seen having sexual encounters with several women and one of them being named Radha. Using names of Hindu deities in a movie with erotic content has irritated a section of people who have now started to protest against Netflix on social media. People claim that it is an insult to their religion and call for censorship in the OTT platform. Now Ravikanth Perepu is back with his second film Krishna And His Leela which was shot at Ladakh. The film stars Kalki fame Siddu Jonnalagadda as Krishna while Shraddha Srinath, Seerat Kapoor and Shalini Vadnikatti play the female leads.
