Apart from Keerthy, this emotional mystery thriller also features Sindhubadh fame Lingaa and Mehendi Circus fame Madhampatty Rangaraj in important roles.

Recently, Galatta Media interacted with Keerthy Suresh through a video call, as part of the film’s promotions. During the interview, we asked if she had any different thoughts about Penguin releasing on OTT platform, since it was initially planned and shot for a theatrical release. Keerthy opened up by saying, “Yes, I was initially worried that we are missing out on the theatrical release. You know the feel that a thriller film that can give while watching it in a theatre. Then only I realised it has been quite a while since I had a release. My last Tamil film was Sarkar and last Telugu film was Mahanati and it has been more than 1.5 years since both the films released.

In that way, I feel fortunate that at least I have a release during this pandemic situation. Also, looking on the creative side, there is a lot more technical freedom if it's an OTT release. Release wise, we can cater to more number of audience at the same time.” You can check out the interview video below to find out more about Penguin and Keerthy Suresh’s experience shooting for the film.
