Actor Karthi celebrated his birthday yesterday (May 25) and wishes poured in from all the quarters. His fans made the day further special with creative fan-made poster designs and tribute designs on social media. Thanking everyone for their love, Karthi shared a voice note to his fans and that audio note has now gone viral on social media. Karthi said, “My heartiest thanks to all my brothers and sisters who took time and wished me for my birthday. I am so grateful for all the love and affection that you people have given me. I love you all.

Every year, I would meet atleast a few people (fans) on my birthday, but this year, it wasn’t possible due to the obvious reasons. I am so worried about it. You guys have arranged blood donation camps and helped the needy, by providing them food. I feel so proud and you all will definitely be blessed for all these welfare activities. Corona is getting intense with every single day. Unless it is very important, try to avoid travelling to different places as it is risky. Atleast for the next one month, we will have to be very careful and safe. Take care”.

This audio note has made the fans so happy and excited and has been doing good rounds on social media. On the professional front, Karthi is acting in two biggies - Sulthan, directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan of Remo fame and the historical epic, Ponniyin Selvan, directed by Mani Ratnam. Apart from these two ongoing projects, Karthi is also in talks with director P.S.Mithran of Irumbu Thirai and Hero fame for a new project under the production of Prince Pictures.
