On this year’s Valentines Day, Vignesh Shivan announced his next directorial project - Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal. This film will feature Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Samantha Akkineni in the lead roles. Anirudh Ravichander will score the music for this romantic comedy entertainer. The film will be produced by Lalit Kumar under the banner of 7 Screen Studios. The latest official update is that the makers are planning to begin the shooting of this film from the month of August. The team is said to be hoping that the pandemic situation would get better by then.
The update was shared through a tweet from the official Twitter handle of 7 Screen Studios. The said production shared updates about their current projects including Vijay’s Master, Chiyaan Vikram’s Cobra and Vijay Sethupathi’s Tughlaq Durbar. Talking about Tughlaq Durbar, it has been revealed that the makers have so far shot for 35 days and they still have 40 more days of shoot planned to happen.
The remaining 40 days of shoot will be planned once the current pandemic situation gets better. Tughlaq Durbar is a political satire that stars Vijay Sethupathi, Aditi Rao Hydari, R Parthiban and Manjima Mohan in the lead roles. The film is directed by debutant Delhi Prasad and has music scored by Govind Vasantha. Check out the official tweet below :
