National Award-winning actor Dhanush's next film, Jagame Thandhiram, initially tentatively titled D40, under Karthik Subbaraj's direction wrapped up production last month. Being produced under the Y Not Studios banner, the reputed production house had not long back released the Jagame Thandhiram motion poster, which has since gone on to receive an astounding response from fans, who have been showering praises on director Karthik Subbaraj, Y Not Studios and Dhanush for making it highly innovative by revealing the star cast akin to world-renowned Italian artist Leonardo Da Vinci's The Last Supper painting.

The Jagame Thandhiram motion poster had carried the film's release date as well, which was announced to be arriving in theatres on May 1 this year. However, with the deadly coronavirus pandemic now causing a major shift in the proceedings in our day-to-day lives, it remains to be seen what decision the makers will next arrive in regard to the release plan of the film.

Having said that, producer S. Sashikanth had interacted with Dhanush fans earlier today and went on to reveal that he too is one among the many who are waiting to give an update, but went on to add saying the world right now feels like the title of their film, Jagame Thandhiram, referring to the coronavirus pandemic that has shifted the balance of our world in an unforeseen and radical manner. He then requested fans to stay safe in their homes during the lockdown period of 21 days while telling them to look after themselves and their families, but also to chill out during this period by referring the 'Chill Bro' song from Dhanush's Pattas.
