Israel's ambassador to India Ron Malka on Wednesday addressed Indian media and said his country is at present awaiting the clinical results of an antibody they have developed to combat the novel coronavirus and are at an advanced stage. He added saying processing is still underway and the antibody will definitely be shared by his country to the world. Malka said, "The processes are not finalised, we are at an advanced stage, Yes, of course, we will share it with the world,".
Earlier this week, Israeli Defence Minister Naftali Bennett stated the country's scientists at the main biological research institute had developed the antibody, which he referred to as a "significant breakthrough". Bennett had said that the staff at the Israel Institute for Biological Research (IIBR), a secret unit working directly under the Prime Minister’s Office, had made the "amazing achievement" due to "their Jewish creativity and ingenuity".
