Actor Jiiva’s Gypsy is all set for its theatrical outing on March 6 after a long delay with fans on social media showing quite a lot of interest over sometime for the film ever since its intense teasers and trailers were released. Joker director Raju Murugan has directed Gypsy under the Olympia Movies banner featuring music by Santhosh Narayanan with the film being awarded an 'A' certificate by the Censor Board.

Promotions for Gypsy are being carried out at an extensive pace in the past one week with the makers unveiling a short release teaser and the 'Kaathellam Poo Manakka' video song, which have received a good response from fans on social media. Now, a censored scene, which will not be featured in Gypsy's theatrical version with Jiiva going up against the police, has been released with the film also featuring actress Natasha Singh, who is making her Tamil cinema debut.

Jiiva's Gypsy also has a short official synopsis which reads as follows: "A young man who travels across India and learns about the issues connected to nation-wide politics along his way and decides to do something about it". The romantic road political drama film includes a talented supporting cast featuring names like popular Malayalam actor Sunny Wayne alongside Lal Jose, Susheela Raman, Vikranth Singh and Karuna Prasad in major supporting roles.
