Sivakarthikeyan's next release would be Doctor, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar of Kolamaavu Kokila fame. This action comedy entertainer features Priyanka Arul Mohan, Yogi Babu, Vinay, Redin Kingsley, VJ Archana, and others in the star cast. Produced by Sivakarthikeyan Productions, in association with KJR Studios, Doctor has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan. We at Galatta Media recently got in touch with director Nelson through a Facebook live session and during the interaction, we did get a few interesting updates about the film.
Talking about Sivakarthikeyan's role in the film, Nelson said it would be quite different from his usual data-style of body language. "You will see a different SK in Doctor. His character in the film will be calm, subtle, intelligent and unpredictable. SK fans will definitely be entertained and it will look fresh. The trailer will create a BOOM and give a glimpse of what you can expect from the film", said Nelson.
Nelson also added that the film will have comedy throughout the running time, with some action and heroic moments for Sivakarthikeyan. Looks like an exciting film is on the making. Stay tuned.
