We had already reported that Dinesh would be teaming up with Madha Yaanai Koottam fame director Vikram Sugumaran for a new film and an official announcement about the said project has now been made. This film will be produced by cinematographer turned actor Arul Doss and Karthik Durai, on behalf of Thai Saravanan’s NalluSamy Pictures. The film has been titled as Therum Porum, and the title look poster of it has been officially launched this morning (February 21). On the technical front, Therum Porum will have music scored by Justin Prabhakaran, cinematography by Mynaa and Kumki fame Sukumar, editing by Lawrence Kishore and art direction by Rajeevan.

It is said that the film’s shooting will begin next month. According to director Vikram Sugumaran, this film’s plot will revolve around a temple car and the politics around it. The film’s premise is set in the backdrop of Sivaganga district, mostly in the town of Devakottai. Talking to a leading media about the film, Vikram Sugumaran said, “Dinesh has been training with bulls for the past few months and also getting physically fit as running along with the bulls demands stamina. We also went to the location and he spent 15-20 days with the bulls there.

Dinesh took part in the event in Siravayal, and tamed bulls, something that most heroes would consider a risk. Around 5 lakh people come to witness this event, with some 10,000 bulls taking part in it, and we have shot all of the proceedings there.” Well, Dinesh is indeed a director’s delight who is ready to take enormous risks for the betterment of a film and going by the updates, it looks like Therum Porum will be an important film in his career.
