Popular Bollywood actress Yuvika Chaudhary has been at the receiving end on social media after she used a casteist slur in one of her vlogs recently on YouTube. The hashtag #ArrestYuvikaChaudhary began trending on social media after she used the word "bhangi" in her vlog. Since the video went viral and drew a huge a backlash, Yuvika has issued an apology on her social media stating, "Hi guys I didn’t kw the meaning about that word wt I used in my last vlog I didn’t mean to hurt anyone and I can never do that to hurt someone I apologise to each n every one I hope you understand love you all (sic)."

#YuvikaChaudhary makes an unconditional apology for her Mistake 🙏🙏@yuvikachoudhary says that she didn't knew the exact meaning of that word #yuvikachaudhary #PrinceNarula #Filmygupshup pic.twitter.com/dFGmGQZ0KZ

Likewise, Yuvika's husband Prince Narula commented: "Baby jo hua galti se hua dnt wry main apke sath hu or apne maafi bhe kang (maang) le hai so i love u (Whatever happened, it happened by mistake. Don't worry, I am with you. You've apologised. So, I love you)." Narula also made attempts to pacify the situation on his own Instagram and explained in video clips that he and Yuvika Googled the term she had used after they were alerted about its meaning and immediately edited out of her vlog. "We are the last people who will believe in the caste system," he said, while also adding that had he known what the word really meant, he would have taken preventive action before her vlog went live. It is to be noted that this is the second such shocking incident from the world of entertainment when a few weeks back, an FIR under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act was filed against Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actress Munmun Dutta after she used a casteist slur in a video.

hum vo last insaan hoge jo caste pe Beleive karte hai main punjabi aw teh wife jaat so plz guys fir se maafi jo jo hurt hua hai and haters plz guys troll karne se phele dakh liya ke kya vo word us insaan ne jaan k bola hai ya galti se nikla we both love you

Now she'll say she didn't know the meaning. Alright. This is how our industry is! Not shocked but disappointed. She is literate but as illiterate #ArrestYuvikaChoudhary #Casteist_Termite #munmunduttavideo @yuvikachoudhary pic.twitter.com/4S7JDlTJjK
