The COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic outbreak happened in the Wuhan Province of China but has now spread across the world, almost infecting every country! This deadly virus does not differentiate between anybody and affects people irrespective of age, caste, creed or social standing. Many top world leaders, politicians, celebrities and sportsmen have already tested positive for this Virus and are under treatment while hundreds of thousands of people have also lost their lives due to complications arising from this virus. India is currently placed 13th in the World, on the list of most affected countries and we now have an update regarding a COVID positive case from the Army Officers Training Academy (OTA), in Chennai!
Reports state that a civilian staff working in the kitchen of the Army's Officers Training Academy (OTA), in Chennai has now tested positive for the COVID-19 Virus! All those who came into contact with this staff member have also been subject to testing for the Virus. Thankfully, there were no cadets at the academy as the last batch of officers graduated recently and the current batch is on term leave, from March 8th! The OTA has been functioning with minimum staff only and thus, there has been no huge spread of the Virus, due to this infected person! The kitchen staff has now been hospitalised at the Government Hospital and is receiving treatment. Stay tuned for updates...
