Very few people might be aware of the fact that Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra started his film career with a Tamil film Thamizhan in 2002. After 10 years, she is now all set to step in Tollywood with the Telugu version of Zanjeer, starring Ram Charan in the lead.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia, the film is being made in Hindi as well and the shooting of the Telugu version will commence by this month.
Her spokesperson said: "Priyanka will start shooting for her portions in the film from this month. The Amitabh-starrer Zanjeer is being remade in both Hindi and Telugu with a different set of cast, and she will be playing the lead in both. Technically, this will be her debut in Tollywood." The Telugu version will also have Prakashraj (also part of the Hindi version) and Sonu Sood.
