Founded in 1955 by the legendary Akkineni Nageshwara Rao, Annapurna Studios is one of the leading production houses in Tollywood. After becoming a full fledged studio, Annapurna Studios has several blockbusters to its credit. Recently, a Film and TV Institute and post production facilities were added to the company's already vast repertoire. The latest addition to Annapurna Studios' profile is the most vaunted Film Distribution wing. Annapurna Studios' upcoming project, a co-production with Reliance Entertainment - Bhai, starring Nagarjuna will become the company's maiden distribution venture. The company will begin their distribution in the Vizag region, before moving onto other areas. The distribution office will be formally launched on August 22.
