The shooting of upcoming Malayalam film Lisammayude Veedu, being directed by Babu Janardhanan, came to a unexpected halt, since its lead lady Meera Jasmine suddenly decided to back off from the project.
Sources say that the actress went abroad, promising the makers that she would join the sets of their film, once she returns. However, though she returned, she did not join the sets and even did not try to contact the makers.
Seemingly, the actress did not get the remuneration she asked for, and that is why she chose to back off from the project. It is heard that the film has a few scenes to be completed.
