Priyamani's most anticipated film Charulatha, in which she plays the role of conjoined twins, will be releasing on September 6! The film is being made in Tamil and Telugu and both versions will be released on the same day!
The film directed by Pon Kumar and produced by Dwarakish, was originally planned to be released on August 24, but it got delayed due to some pending works. The final mixing works are on in Bengaluru, after which some graphics correction and remaining works will take place in Chennai.
Charulatha makers have officially bought the rights of Thai-Korean film Alone (2007), the original version of Charulatha. Alone is about a deceased Siamese twin returning to haunt surviving sister. Mollywood actor Skanda is playing the male lead while Seetha, Saranya Ponvannan and Arthi play important roles. Sundar C. Babu scores the music for this film to be released by Geetha Film Distribution in Telugu.
