Anil Kapoor to be conferred 'Lalitha Kala Samrat' title
Bollywood actor Anil Kapoor will be conferred the title of ‘Lalitha Kala Samrat' at the Second Mega Cultural Festival of T. Subbarami Reddy Lalitha Kala Parishat to be held at Shilpa Kala Vedika in Hyderabad on March 19.
Addressing a press conference on Monday, Reddy, MP and chairman of the Parliamentary standing committee on Science & Technology, said the festival was being organized as part of the Parishat's aim to promote culture, arts, theatre and literature.
It will be inaugurated by Union Minister for Rural Development Vilas Rao Deshmukh while Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy will be the chief guest. Playback singers S.P. Balasubramanyam and K.S. Chitra will render a musical nite under the stewardship of music director Vasu Rao.
Producer Allu Arvind, actors Sharat Kumar, Radhika, Suhasini, Anushka, Allu Arjun and Brahmanandam besides Indian Idol Sree Ramachandra will be presented ‘TSR Lalitha Kala Parishat' awards.
