A project that has been widely discussed by fans across India ever since its announcement this year, the Hindi remake of the blockbuster Tamil film Vikram Vedha starring Bollywood superstars Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan in the lead roles has concluded its first schedule of filming spanning 27 days in Abu Dhabi. Vikram Vedha in Hindi is being helmed by the original Tamil film writers and director duo Pushkar & Gayatri, with the first schedule wrapped with Hrithik's portions and the second leg of filming kicking off on Monday in Lucknow. 

Being produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks & S. Sashikanth’s YNOT Studios, the upcoming Vikram Vedha will see Hrithik Roshan playing 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi's role as Vikram, while Saif Ali Khan is portraying the character of Vedha essayed in Tamil by Madhavan. The makers have also announced that leading actress Radhika Apte of Kabali fame will be playing a pivotal role in the neo-noir action thriller based on the Indian folktale Vikram aur Betaal and has been announced for a worldwide theatrical release on September 30, 2022
