Amala Paul has got her next film ready for release and the official update regarding the same is out. Yes! Cadaver will be Amala Paul's next release in Tamil cinema and the film holds a good level of promise among the film buffs. Earlier this evening (July 21), the makers officially announced that the film will have a direct digital release on the Disney Hotstar platform and the update has garnered wide attention on social media. Cadaver will be Amala Paul's first direct OTT release film. The makers are yet to finalize the release date of the movie and further updates are awaited.

The OTT release announcement was made through a new poster which has Amala Paul in a completely new makeover and it grabs our attention instantly. Amala Paul will be seen playing the role of a forensic surgeon in this film and she is said to have played a very unique character. Cadaver stands for a dead human body that is used by medical students for research purposes and the film's story revolves around Amala Paul's character that solves a mystery case. Cadaver is directed by debutant Anoop S Panicker, while the music is composed by Ranjin Raj. Aravinnd Singh has cranked the camera for this film that is edited by San Lokesh.

Abhilash Pillai has penned the story for this film. Interestingly, Cadaver will also mark Amala Paul's debut as a producer and she has bankrolled this film under the banner of Amala Paul Production. Amala Paul was last seen in the Netflix anthology Pitta Kathalu and her performance in the segment Meera received positive responses from the audience. Up next, she will be seen playing one of the leads in the upcoming Tamil anthology, Victim, which has been helmed by four prominent filmmakers - Venkat Prabhu, Pa Ranjith, Chimbu Deven, and M Rajesh. Amala Paul is a part of Venkat Prabhu's directorial segment - Confession.
