'Thalapathy' Vijay will be seen next in the highly-anticipated Leo scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on October 19 as a big treat for the Ayudha pooja holidays. Filming for the mass action thriller under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction has been happening in Chennai over the past few days, with the next leg of production set to begin in the first week of May. With Leo progressing at a steady pace, there has quite a lot of talk surrounding Vijay's next among fans on social media, who have labelled the project as Thalapathy 68, with many wondering who would be the director. In the midst of this, there have also been reports stating that Thalapathy 68 could be produced by veteran producer RB Choudary's Super Good Films, which would make it the blockbuster banner's prestigious 100th venture.
With speculations rife that Super Good Films is set to produce Thalapathy 68, a fan had posted a query to producer RB Choudary's son and actor Jiiva regarding the project on Instagram. When one fan asked for an update about Vijay's next, the Gypsy actor went on to hint at a confirmation sending the Tamil superstar's fans into celebration mode. Vijay has so far collaborated with RB Choudary's Super Good Films in six ventures that include Poove Unakkaga (1996), Love Today (1997), Thulladha Manamum Thullum (1999), Shahjahan (2001), Thirupaachi (2005) and Jilla (2014). All the films they have worked together have turned out to be phenomenal box office successes and fans can expect Super Good Films to make their 100th film as grand as possible, with Vijay in the lead as all eyes will be fixed on the much-awaited official announcement.
