'Thalapathy' Vijay's next big film, The Greatest of All Time, is currently one of the most-awaited ventures of 2024 and has been announced to be coming out in a grand manner in cinemas this year. Being directed by blockbuster filmmaker Venkat Prabhu, there are massive expectations for the upcoming film, which will feature songs and a background score composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. In the meantime, Venkat Prabhu, on Monday, March 4, was the chief guest at the J Baby press meet, where he addressed several questions about The Greatest of All Time, while opening up on the film's upcoming shooting schedules and also dropping a hint about the much awaited first single. 

Speaking about The Greatest of All Time, Venkat Prabhu stated that the ongoing schedule kicked off on February 29, with the climax planned to be completed next this month. He also said that an important leg of filming will take place at an overseas location after which the production comes to a wrap. Revealing that there will be many songs in the film, the Maanaadu (2021) director also dropped a hint about the first single saying that it could come out sometime in May. When asked about when the next The Greatest of All Time update will be out, Venkat Prabhu said that releasing posters can be done, but it would end up being ordinary adding that there is a probability for something to be come out at a festival time. 

The Greatest of All Time is a multi-starrer and will see Vijay appearing alongside several notable big Tamil cinema stars starting with Kolai fame Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, followed by Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Jayaram, Ajmal Amir, Laila, Sneha, Mohan, Yogi Babu, VTV Ganesh, Premgi Amaren, Vaibhav, Aravind Akash, and Ajay Raaj, among others cast in key roles. The film also marks the first time in two decades that Yuvan Shankar Raja is collaborating with Vijay after Pudhiya Geethai (2003) and there are massive expectations for the hit music director to deliver chart-topping hits once again.
