Silambarasan TR's massive transformation has been the talk of the town for a while now as the actor is all charged up for his line of upcoming high-profile projects. Simbu, who is already attached to Venkat Prabhu's Maanaadu, the remake of the Kannada film Mufti and an extended cameo appearance in Maha, recently kicked off shooting for his new rural entertainer project with director Susienthiran. The title of the STR-Susienthiran film was revealed to be Eeswaran on Monday on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami, with the actor treating his fans to the first look, including a motion poster, which has since then received a thunderous response.

The Eeswaran first look shows Simbu's radical physical transformation, which has left his fans in awe, who are now waiting to witness him once again in action when the film hits theatres as a Pongal 2021 treat. Having said that, STR once again took to his social networking pages to drop yet another bombshell announcement stating that Eeswaran will be releasing across five languages, including Tamil. Being produced by KV Durai & MDM Sharfudden under the D Company banner, the film being presented by Balaji Kappa's Madhav Media will now also be released in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam. Check out the announcement below, including the posters of the film in other languages:

Simbu has also in his announcement revealed that actress Nandita Swetha too is a part of Eeswaran, ending the speculation of whether or nor she is cast in the film. The film will see Silambarasan TR romancing Nidhhi Agerwal from the upcoming Jayam Ravi starrer Bhoomi, while veteran director Bharathiraja is appearing in a vital role. Composer SS Thaman, who has been in a sensational form of late, is churning out the tunes in the film, which is his third-time collaboration with STR after their Osthe and Vaalu

Eeswaran also includes S Tirru handling the cinematography, while Anthony has come on board as the editor, with the team planning to wrap up the film in a single schedule by next month after which Simbu will resume filming his portions for his Maanaadu under Venkat Prabhu's direction. Production on Eeswaran is currently progressing at a rapid pace at Dindigul, with the team following the COVID-19 protocols on the film's sets as per the government's instructions.
