Cinematographer G.K.Vishnu made a striking debut with Thalapathy Vijay’s Mersal which was directed by Atlee and produced by Thenandal Studios Limited. Vishnu’s impressive work garnered attention from a lot of people and he bagged various awards for his work in the Vijay starrer. The grand scale of the film was well established through his film and Vijay looked absolutely great through his lens. Subsequently, he worked in Vijay - Atlee’s next outing, Bigil which turned out to be a blockbuster hit as well.

G.K.Vishnu’s next film happens to be Krack, Ravi Teja’s next film and notably this happens to be Vishnu’s debut in Telugu cinema. This film is directed by Gopichand Malineni of Bodyguard and Winner fame. This action drama features Shruti Haasan as the female lead, while Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Samuthirakani, Ali, and Chirag Jani are also a part of the cast. The film has music scored by the sensational composer, Thaman who is in great form after the stupendous success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo’s songs and background score.

The teaser of the film which released a few months back created huge expectations among the fans and it had enough shots that showcased the electrifying screen presence and mass of Ravi Teja. Varalaxmi is touted to play a character with grey shades. Produced by B Madhu under the banner of Saraswathi Films Division, Krack is expected to give a strong comeback for Ravi Teja whose last few films haven’t left a great impact. The film was scheduled to hit the screens on 8th May, but due to the unexpected outbreak of Corona virus, the release has been postponed indefinitely.

Recently, there were wide speculations that Krack will have a direct OTT release and it was said that the film will stream on Prime Video soon. To clear the air, the film’s director Gopichand has assured the fans that the film will release only in theatres. Sharing a poster from the film, he wrote, “#krack in Theaters only”. This immediate clarification from director Gopichand has made the fans happy and excited and let us hope that the theatres reopen soon after the pandemic.
