These are tough times indeed and people have been losing their livelihoods due to the COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic! However, despite all the troubling times, there are some things, which are unforgivable! All said and done, there are people who do some things to fulfil their wishes, irrespective of whether what they are doing is morally right or not! In a shocking news, it has come to light that a Hyderabad woman has sold her infant to fulfil her dream of travelling to Mumbai! The Hyderabad police have arrested a 22-year-old woman for selling her 2-month infant for Rs. 45,000, to fulfil her fantasy of going to Mumbai! This incident has occurred in the Habeebnagar Police limits!

A report states that Shaikh Zoya Khan (22) was staying alone with her child, after having a fight with her husband! She had long wanted to go to Mumbai but did not have the financial means to do so. Just to fulfil this wish of seeing Mumbai, the mother is said to have sold her baby for Rs. 45,000! On coming to know of this, the woman's husband - Abdul Mujaheed, approached the Police and registered a complaint. Luckily, the Police were able to trace Zoya Khan and arrest her within 24 hours and were also able to recover the baby! A Police report states that 5 others were arrested along with the mother, including the family who purchased the baby and a mediator who brokered the deal between the two parties. 

The arrested people have been booked with cases under the juvenile justice act by the Police. The relieved father Abdul Mujaheed has been given custody of the baby - Shaikh Adnan! We hear that further investigation is still on in this case. Stay tuned for updates...
