Vijay Antony starrer Kodiyil Oruvan is all set for its theatrical release on September 17 and it is going to be interesting to see how the film is received by the audience. Kodiyil Oruvan is directed by Ananda Krishnan, who is known for directing the critically acclaimed action drama, Metro. The film features Meesaiya Murukku fame Aathmika as the female lead and has music composed by Nivas K Prasanna. KGF fame Garuda Ram, and Prabhakar will be seen in negative shaded roles. NS Uthaya Kumar has handled the cinematography, while Vijay Antony himself has edited the movie. Harish Arjun has composed the background score for the film. Meanwhile, the makers have now released a new scene from the film as a sneak peek and this scene looks quite interesting.

Vijay Antony plays the role of a tuition teacher, who educates the school going children in his locality. This scene features the local rowdies of the area attacking Vijay Antony since his actions were against them. Unlike a usual mass hero, Vijay Antony doesn't hit them back and he instead moves away patiently. Later, he also tells his students that their focus should only be on their final goal and they shouldn't be diverted by the barriers that come their way. The scene looks quite promising, making the audience curious to watch the film.

Vijay Antony is known for his wise selection of scripts and the talented music director turned actor seems to have picked another interesting project in the form of Kodiyil Oruvan. The film is censored with a U/A certificate and is on track for release on September 17. The film will also have a dubbed release in Telugu.
