The films received a standing ovation accompanied by a 5-minute non-stop applause and the makers have also posted a picture of the celebrations with Vetri Maaran and the lead stars Soori and Vijay Sethupathi along with a video of the audience reaction. Both Viduthalai: Parts 1 & 2 have been released together as a 4-hour version in all its glory at the 53rd International Film Festival Rotterdam in Netherlands and this latest feedback has led to a huge response among Tamil cinema fans on social media, who have been extending their congratulations, while expressing their excitement to witness the magic Vetri Maaran has woven for the big screen.
