In an untoward incident, popular Hindi and Marathi television and films actress Kishori Shahane Vij has revealed that her car met with an accident recently at the Pawna Lake on the outskirts of Mumbai. Known best for her role in the hit TV serial Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin, the star took to social media and posted photos from the site of the accident. The first picture shows the aftermath of a truck against the side of Kishori's car, while the other two images give a clear glimpse of the extent of the damage with the door almost shattered. Sharing the post, the veteran actress captioned it, "Our car met with an accident.. car destroyed, lives saved. God Bless. Jako rakhe saiya maar sake na koi (The ones whom God protects, can’t be harmed) #save #life #godbless @varun_vij @hashmegh @bobbyvij17 @deepakbalrajvij."
Kishori's post about the road accident has witnessed a large response from her celebrity friends and fans, who have been offering their love and support to the actress after the traumatic incident. Yamini Malhotra, her co-star Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin who played the character Shivani, expressed her concern. Likewise, actress Sheetal Maulik too commented saying, "This was a major @kishorishahane thank god no one was hurt", while actor Adish Vaidya wrote, "Thank god u both are fine".
On the work front, Kishori is currently seen playing the role of Bhavani Chavan in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and has been a part of the Hindi television and film industry for more than three decades. She has also made appearances on popular TV shows like Ghar Ek Mandir, Sindoor, Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin, and Ishq Mein Marjawan to name a notable few, while also participating in the reality show Bigg Boss Marathi 2.
