Trisha has been leading the path for two decades in cinema and the actress is now a part of one of the biggest Tamil films in production, LEO, starring 'Thalapathy' Vijay in the lead role. Touted to be an action thriller, the upcoming film is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj under blockbuster producer Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner, and is set to open in cinemas worldwide on October 19 on the auspicious occasion of Ayudha pooja. With production on LEO currently underway in Kashmir for well over two weeks, Trisha has now posted a photo of herself on her Instagram Story, which shows her walking through the snow-covered landscape, most likely either during filming scenes not involving her or while on a break after the shooting. LEO marks the big screen reunion of Trisha and Vijay once again after 14 years and their pairing is undoubtedly one of the biggest USPs of the film after they previously collaborated in Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), and Kuruvi (2008). The announcement of the duo in the film was one of the most exciting updates to come out and the rapport the two stars were seen having during the film's pooja back in December took many back down the memory lane. LEO also has in its star cast names like Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, 'Action King' Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Sandy master, among others in crucial roles and the inclusion of the big names has created massive curiosity and interest among fans about the story and how director Lokesh Kanagaraj will flesh out the plot.
Anirudh Ravichander is also teaming up with 'Thalapathy' Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj for the second time for LEO after their 2021 box-office money-spinner, Master, and fans expect the chart-buster composer to come out all guns blazing once again. The 'Bloody Sweet' song, which was released along as a special treat in the film's title announcement promo a few days back, is already a chart-topping hit and expectations are huge for the trio to trump their previous work.
