National Award-winning Tamil actor 'Chiyaan' Vikram's Thangalaan directed by acclaimed filmmaker Pa. Ranjith is currently in the post-production phase and is gearing up for a grand release in theatres worldwide in 2024. The period action drama's highly-anticipated teaser is expected to drop online soon, with official updates about the film set to begin flowing starting next week. That being said, popular Tamil film producer-distributor G Dhananjeyan on Saturday, October 21, revealed on social media that he has watched the Thangalaan teaser describing it to be world-class. He further went on to compliment Vikram, Pa. Ranjith, and National Award-winning music director G. V. Prakash Kumar for their extraordinary effort, while expressing his excitement for the film's team to announce its release date soon.

Earlier this week, Thangalaan director Pa. Ranjith addressed the press and informed that the film's teaser was ready and can be expected to be released sometime next week. Likewise, GV Prakash also said that the teaser has come out extraordinarily well adding that it will create a "sambavam". The expectations for the Thangalaan teaser are massive, especially after the title announcement promo released in 2022 and a making video unveiled as a special treat on the occasion Vikram's birthday in April this year received staggering feedback from fans.

With the first Thangalaan teaser review now out, fans will be looking forward to its release date, which is expected to be announced anytime soon. Billed to be a period venture set in the pre-Independence era in the Kolar Gold Fields (KGF) in Karnataka, the film will showcase 'Chiyaan' Vikram in a completely new dimension after his physical transformation for his role created an instant buzz among fans. Thangalaan will see Vikram appearing on the screen alongside an ensemble star cast that includes Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Malavika Mohanan, Madras fame Harikrishnan Anbudurai, among others in key roles, while English actor Daniel Caltagirone will be playing the antagonist.
