Tamil actor Vijay honored top-scoring students of this year’s 10th and 12th-grade public examinations across all 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu at the 'Thalapathy' Vijay Education Award Ceremony held on Saturday, June 17, in Chennai. The event witnessed the superstar appreciating the students who came out with top marks and presenting them with certificates and incentive money, with photos and videos taking social media by storm. With the occasion turning out to be a memorable one for the students and their parents, Vijay has now shared photos from the event on his social media pages while once again reiterating his best wishes to them all. Likewise, a video from the 'Thalapathy' Vijay Education Award Ceremony has now been released on the official YouTube channel of Vijay's manager Jagadish Palanisamy's celebrity management company The Route, showing the superstar interacting with students over the course of the event that went on for nearly thirteen hours starting at around 11 a.m. and wrapping up at close to midnight. From arranging the accommodation, breakfast, and lunch, to snacks, the actor made sure all requirements for the students and their parents who arrived for the meeting were met, with his rousing speech leaving everyone captivated.
Vijay's efforts to honor students have won the hearts of Tamil cinema audiences in general, while the actor's latest noble gesture continues to dominate the social media trends, with many speculating that he could be contemplating a political entry in the years ahead. The actor went on to take photographs with the students and their parents, while also obliging to many of the top scorers' requests to pose for pictures in the way they wanted them to be taken.
