The highly-anticipated 'Thalapathy' Vijay and 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi starrer Master is out in theatres worldwide and has taken a sensational opening at the box office. Maanagaram and Kaithi fame Lokesh Kanagaraj has hit the bullseye once again with his mass masala action entertainer, with fans still gushing about the electrifying performances of both Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, including the other aspects of the film. As many have taken to social media to express their opinions about the film, including celebrities, acclaimed director Mysskin too caught the first day first show of Master with his assistants after which he has shared his short review on his Twitter page.

Director Mysskin's Master review was precise to the point of complimenting both Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi. He wrote saying he enjoyed the roars and whistles of the fans and declared Vijay to be handsome, stylish and graceful in his performance, while complimenting Vijay Sethupathi for playing a raw and lethal villain and labelled him to be explosive. Mysskin tweeted, "Today, I watched 'MASTER' with my Assistants. I enjoyed the roars and whistles of the Fans.  Vijay: Handsome, Graceful and Stylish. @VijaySethuOffl Raw, Explosive and Lethal. Best Wishes. - Mysskin. #Master"

Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi receiving high praise for their performances in Master from a filmmaker of Mysskin's stature is undoubtedly a big feat considering he has directed some of the most acclaimed and memorable films that have brought recognition to Tamil cinema from across the country and various parts of the world. Mysskin, whose Psycho earned rave reviews last year, is currently working on his Pisasu 2 starring Andrea Jeremiah and featuring music by Karthik Raja, with the director hoping to taste a bigger success with his upcoming horror thriller.

Coming back to Master, the film is set to witness bigger audiences thronging theatres till this weekend in view of the Pongal celebrations, which the makers will no doubt be happy about. Although no official box office figures have been released yet, film industry trade analysts have declared on social media to be a staggering success in reviving the theatre business. Master has been a film that was initially scheduled to hit screens in April last year, but got pushed to nearly a year due to the pandemic, with the hype since then skyrocketing with each passing day.

Apart from Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, Master produced by Xavier Britto's XB Film Creators banner, with distribution done by Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studios and featuring chart-buster music by Anirudh Ravichander, also includes in its diverse cast names like Malavika Mohanan as the female lead, with Andrea Jeremiah, Kaithi villain Arjun Das, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, Gouri Kishan, Master Mahendran, KPY Dheena, Ramya Subramanian, Azhagam Perumal among others in vital supporting roles.
