We're less than a week away from the grand worldwide theatrical release of 'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo starting October 19 and fans are lapping up any information regarding the film directed by blockbuster Tamil filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj featuring music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. The mass action drama film includes several big names among whom is also art director Sathees Kumar, who has now in an exclusive interview with Galatta shared his insights about the various aspects of the film, including the much-debated hyena sequence, which is billed to be a major highlight. Sathees Kumar, who has collaborated with Lokesh Kanagaraj in Maanagaram (2016), Kaithi (2019), Master (2021), and Vikram (2022), has now opened up on the use of Computer Graphics (CG) for the hyena sequence in Vijay's Leo, while also sharing his reaction after watching the final output.

Speaking about the hyena sequence in Leo, Sathees Kumar said, "I was first told that the team is going to use CG for the scene. But, when it comes to using CG, we all have a fear that it won't work out and we won't get what we expect. However, the director shot the sequence first and gave it to the CG artists in the time that they asked for. So, when the output came, we were all surprised. I felt that it looked original. He (Lokesh) said that it's CG and the team has done a really wonderful job. They truly have done a fantastic job."

There is a lot of excitement surrounding the hyena scene in Leo, especially after the first visuals of the sequence were shown in the film's high-octane action-packed trailer a few days ago. Vijay will be seen sharing the screen in the film with Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin, Sandy master, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, among others,
